The Academy is an independent day school for grades 7-PG. Here, everyone learns, everyone plays, and everyone matters. Our challenging program emphasizes critical discourse, creativity and appreciation for excellence and beauty. Athletics here emphasize character, teamwork and sportsmanship. Our school is intentionally small. Every teacher knows every student and is accessible to every parent. We are guided by an Honor Code that everyone signs each year. Diversity and civility are at our core, and our graduates are equipped to make a difference in their colleges, communities and the world.

Today's Thought was a quote from 8th grader Manuela's sister, Alejandra, read by Manuela and Scarlet: "To see oneself as who you actually are is impossible. To believe that you are truly only beautiful is a lie. But to smile and laugh like no one will ever judge you, to feel no boundaries and go with what not the mind nor the heart... but the feet are telling you, is what truly is true."
