Beaver Country Day School (BCDS) is a coeducational college preparatory school enrolling about 420 day students in grades 6-12. Beaver's innovative approach to teaching emphasizes creative problem solving, collaboration, real-world applications and multiple/global perspectives - the diverse set of thinking skills that are essential today. Students experience a variety of assessments that promote in-depth learning and reflection over rote memorization of facts. Beaver is a 1:1 laptop school. Social justice education is integrated throughout the curriculum across subjects at all grade levels.
