ATHLETICS - This week, lead instructor Valery Marcantonio led the Belmont Day dance team to Sunrise Senior Living Center in Weston to perform for the residents. The team performed two routines, each one a unique creation inspired from different music and styles. The badminton team toppled Carroll 20-2 and finished their season with a perfect 4-0 record during interscholastic competition. Charlotte Brandt and Naomi Stephenson played well for the victors. With commanding wins over Beaver and ISB this week, the fencing team put the finishing touches on an undefeated season. Cole Abbott and Jamie McCreath each had great weeks on the strip. The varsity basketball teams finished off their 16-17 campaigns with a pair of hard fought losses against Meadowbrook. Classmates Sadie Levy and Jacob Gregor both played well in defeat. Both JV basketball teams lost their final two games of the season this week, but showed significant growth over the course of the winter behind head coaches Dean Spencer and Dale McGhee.
