The Roxbury Latin School will appoint two Penn Teaching Fellows for the 2018-19 school year (starting in June) in the following areas: Economics, History, Math/Technology, Spanish, or the Visual Arts.  The two-year program enables Fellows to earn an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia while gaining experience at The Roxbury Latin School in Boston.  With the guidance of faculty mentors, Penn Fellows teach one or two classes, serve as an advisor to several students, and are involved in two seasons of coaching a team sport or the equivalent in supervising an extracurricular activity.  The program brings together a talented and lively cohort working at different independent day schools, for whom relevant theory complements engaged practice.  For more information, go to http://istr.gse.upenn.edu/dstr.
