LAWRENCE ACADEMY: Different programs make the difference at Lawrence Academy. Students learn thinking skills that will allow them to arrive at their own interpretations and develop their own points of view beginning in the Ninth Grade Program. Winterim, the Independent Immersion Program, extensive arts offerings in dance, drama, music, and visual arts, as well as competitive athletics further the co-curricular experience. A warm community environment, international diversity, daily advisor meetings, extensive college counseling, and state of the art facilities enhance the program.

Lauritz Herfarth '19 had the chance to sit down with Jason Rakip '92 (Cooledge Lighting of #Vancouver) who was visiting campus. Jason has been working in #lighting for 20 years and Lauritz who has a strong interest in the subject was excited to chat about the ins and outs of the business. Fun Fact: Jason was a member of the team (at Philips) who was responsible for lighting the #EmpireStateBuilding with it's iconic LED system. #nbd #GrotonMA #AlwaysASpartan
