Special Programs/Features Newman is an international school, with a diverse student body comprised of both American and international students. We offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme as an optional additional credential, along with the regular diploma of the school. Members of the Class of 2010 are attending such schools as New York University, Parsons School of Design, College of the Holy Cross, Boston University, USC Berkeley, Cornell University, Bryn Mawr, Lafayette, Suffolk, and University of Vermont.

The Newman School is a coeducational college preparatory school. Founded in 1945 and named after Cardinal Newman, the school community is diverse, comprised of students from greater Boston and and 15 countries. Newman offers the International Baccalaureate Programme as the basis for studies in the junior and senior year. The IB provides students of many levels of ability with intellectual engagement based upon standards established by educators around the world. Sports and activities are offered, including Yearbook, Music, Crew, Basketball and Soccer for both boys and girls.
