Four Great Reasons

Great Teachers

You remember forever the great teachers, the ones who went out of their way to know you, support you, and encourage you to do things you didn’t think you could do.

MORE

Tremendous Opportunities

At its root, "opportunity" means “favorable wind.”More than anything, you want your children to have opportunities in life.

Nurturing Every Student

Ask parents with kids in independent schools what they most value about the school, and they almost always say that they love the personal attention their child receives.

Welcoming Communities

Families go to independent schools not because of an accident of geography, but because they identify with the school's mission, beliefs and dedication to excellence in education.

Atrium's Studio Art Program, directed by our award winning teacher, Talin Megherian, is designed to nurture in each child a familiarity with tools and materials to creatively explore self expression in visual art. The program equally values process and product, the joy of exploration, creativity, and artistic play. For this program, parents and children will create Matisse-inspired collage self-portraits. "A is for Atrium" is a series of FREE Tuesday morning programs at Atrium School for young children and their parents or caregivers. The programs are from 9:30-11:00am and will include: the featured program of the month, Tobias Potyranski and his magical Gym Bus, a story with Atrium PreK teacher, Rachel Davenport, songs, art projects, and a nutritious "nut-free" snack. RSVP appreciated, but not required to: Sandi Dunn, Director of Admissions, at sdunn@atrium.org or 617-923-4156 ext. 125
