Special Programs/Features For more than three decades, St. George's has been offering students the opportunity to spend an intense few weeks living and learning aboard Geronimo in waters from Rhode Island to the Bahamas. The seven students on each voyage become crew members, scientists and explorers. With the guidance of a professional Captain and two mates, they learn to sail and navigate a 69-foot vessel. They conduct fieldwork in Marine Biology. They have firsthand encounters with the study of oceanography, nautical science and meteorology.
