“Teachers know you individually and can help you with many different things. You can always go to them and they’ll help you.”
Four Great Reasons
Great Teachers
You remember forever the great teachers, the ones who went out of their way to know you, support you, and encourage you to do things you didn’t think you could do.
Tremendous Opportunities
At its root, "opportunity" means “favorable wind.”More than anything, you want your children to have opportunities in life.
Nurturing Every Student
Ask parents with kids in independent schools what they most value about the school, and they almost always say that they love the personal attention their child receives.
Welcoming Communities
Families go to independent schools not because of an accident of geography, but because they identify with the school's mission, beliefs and dedication to excellence in education.

Summer Programs
You can search here for a specifc school's programs (i.e., Simpson Academy), for programs within a certain zipcode, and for programs by name/type. For example, under "Program Name" you would search for "soccer" or "theater" or "computer." Note that when using zipcodes you can broaden your search by entering, say, just the first three numbers of the zipcode: 020 instead of 02061, for example.
Writing Institute
Enthusiastic young writers, entering grades five through eight, will take inspiration from favorite authors, studying technique and style to further inform our own writing. Mornings will be filled with short bursts of reading, various writing exercises, and sharing. Afternoons will be more focused on beginning or continuing your novel.
