In the current academic year, Rivers has awarded approximately $2.6 million in need-based financial aid. Please note that the Rivers Admissions Committee operates on a need-blind basis. Candidates are evaluated for financial aid based on demonstrated need as evidenced through the nationally standardized system for analysis offered by the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS) based in Princeton, NJ. Our Financial Aid application deadline is January 15th. Founded in 1915, The Rivers School is dedicated to its mission of “excellence with humanity”—offering rigorous, challenging programs in a caring community in which each student is known, understood, and valued. With 450 students in grades 6 through 12, the school offers an intimate and dynamic classroom environment with 34 honors and Advanced Placement courses as well as a comprehensive arts program, and is home to one of the premier music schools in the Boston area—The Rivers School Conservatory. The School operates 2 summer day camps; The Rivers Day Camp and Camp Nonesuch.
