The Hyde Center for Global Education is considered BC High’s hub of all global activity.  With 18 global partnerships, 200 students traveling abroad a year, a dynamic global scholars’ program, and innovative language learning opportunities, the Hyde Center has an eye towards continued growth, expansion, and opportunities for both students and faculty.  The Hyde Center Coordinator is an excellent entry level opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the exciting field of global education.  Assisting in all elements of the Hyde Center operation, the Hyde Center Coordinator will have varying opportunities to promote, grow and contribute to the Hyde Center mission.

This is a 10-month position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the VP for Global Mission and Identity, the Hyde Center Associate and Assistant Directors, and the Hyde Center Office Manager
  • Contribute toward all Hyde Center marketing efforts and social media outreach
  • Assist in the coordination of the BC High experience – the Hyde Center’s program for visiting international students throughout the year
  • Assist in the management of the Peretti Scholars Spanish conversation program; be willing to facilitate conversation sessions as needed
  • Facilitate theme classes for visiting students
  • Assist in the preparation of BC student travelers abroad
  • Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director and VP for Global Mission and Identity

  • The ideal candidate will have native fluency in a second language (Spanish preferred)
