Notre Dame Academy, a college preparatory 7-12 school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and located in Hingham, is seeking a Director of Operations and Stewardship (Director) to join the Advancement team. The Director will lead advancement services and stewardship programs. S/he will be responsible for building out a robust advancement operations program including gift processing, stewardship strategy and implementation, database management, prospect research, and financial reporting. The Director will create and interpret data, oversee consistent reporting and analysis of fundraising progress, and manage the progress against interim goals as set by the CAO. In partnership with finance, the Director will work to ensure appropriate gift processing and financial reporting through regular collaborative reconciliation exercises between teams.

Essential Job Functions::

  • Manage advancement services program with a special focus on databases
  • Conduct prospect research, building out constituent records for prospects at the top of the donor pyramid and upon special request by President and/or CAO
  • Build robust stewardship program in partnership with CAO, inclusive of individual stewardship plan (ISP) tracking, donor reporting and gift acknowledgements, and more
  • Provide event support through RSVP management and other operational support as needed
  • Work closely with CAO to build foundation relations program and identify and execute grant writing opportunities

Schedule Requirements

  • Some evening and weekend work required.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5+ years of nonprofit program development
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with Bloomerang or other fundraising systems a plus
