The Cambridge School of Weston is seeking a full-time employee to help maintain the school’s facilities and grounds. The days of work will be Monday to Friday. This person must be available to work as a member of our essential personnel team in case of poor weather conditions to assist in snow plowing, snow shoveling, snow blowing, power outages, flooding, and other weather-related emergencies. Additional responsibilities include custodial work, maintenance of the buildings and grounds, and coverage and assistance during school events.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License.
- The ability to procure a Hydraulic license.
- The ability to drive school vehicles, including golf carts, trucks, landscape equipment, and small buses.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry)
All new hires are required to complete and pass state and national background checks via CORI and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts law requiring fingerprint-based background checks. All employees at The Cambridge School of Weston are also required to participate in the Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Empowerment program.
