Supervisor: Director – Center for Career & Technical Education

Qualifications: Minimum 3 years teaching or comparable work experience required.   NH certification or Statement of Eligibility from NH Department of Education in Health Professionals and Related Clinical Sciences required. Current NH EMT II/III license or a multi-state RN license from another compact state preferred. 

Summary of Duties: Develop and deliver curriculum, including our EMT program, based on NH competencies as well as industry standards to prepare students for post-secondary opportunities in all areas related to health science.  This teacher is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program that will result in students achieving academic success in a hands-on, contextual learning environment while also developing work-place skills in their career area.

Working Hours: Additional work hours outside the normal school day required periodically for purposes of providing additional learning experiences for the students.  

Duties:

  • Manage and maintain the Health Science facility, equipment, inventory and budget.  
  • Co-advise our student chapter of HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America).*
  • Development of industry connections promoting service learning, cooperative education, and work based learning opportunities for the students with the assistance of the Career Coordinator.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the CTE Director or Administration.
