Montrose seeks an experienced teacher of History starting in August 2020. The ideal candidate for this position possesses exceptional intellectual curiosity and skill leading seminars investigating primary texts, as well as experience with project-based learning. Teachers at Montrose model an inquiry-based classroom and are adept at the teaching and development of critical reading and analytical writing skills while working in a robust collegial liberal arts environment. Candidates must also have proficiency and comfort with technology and delivering blended learning. Strong applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a master's degree is preferred, at least three years of classroom experience, and an appreciation for all-girls' education.
