Phillips Academy seeks a full-time, continuing Instructor in Computer Science (within the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science) to begin in September of 2021. We are interested in exceptional candidates who have distinguished themselves as experts in computer science generally and leaders in computer-science education specifically. Candidates must be enthusiastic about both introducing new students to comp sci and teaching advanced comp-sci topics to highly accomplished students. We seek dynamic candidates who will be active participants not only in the academic program but also in the athletics/fitness and residential programs at this boarding school. A minimum of five years’ teaching experience—including, in particular, at the secondary level—preferred. Significant experience in the tech industry a plus.
