Seeking a dynamic Orthodox rabbinic leader to serve as a teacher, educator and Orthodox rabbinic advisor and community builder for the 2019-2020 school year. Qualified candidates will be comfortable teaching a broad range of Jewish subjects (2-3 courses) using classical Jewish texts and modern sources, both in the original Hebrew/Aramaic and in translation. Candidates will be able to connect well with teenagers across the Jewish spectrum, serve as a role model of engaged and inspired Jewish living, and facilitate students’ development of their Jewish identities. While candidates should enjoy working in a pluralistic Jewish setting and engaging students from all Jewish backgrounds, they will take special responsibility for inspiring and strengthening our Orthodox community, representing the Orthodox approach to Judaism, and connecting with Orthodox-affiliated students and their families. Candidates should be excited to be part of a diverse Jewish life team, helping to facilitate holiday and Shabbaton experiences and to advise our Mechitza minyan.

We seek educators who are committed to collaborating and growing in their teaching practice, to creating vibrant and meaningful Jewish experiences, and to supporting diverse learners in the classroom. Candidates should have Orthodox rabbinic ordination or the equivalent (Maharat, Yoetzet Halakhah). Candidates of all genders are welcome.
