Providence Country Day School, an independent school serving students in grades 6-12, seeks a dynamic Middle School educator who is versatile, but specifically skilled in two-dimensional design, drawing, painting, and basic sculptural practices and who has a firm knowledge of art history.

PCD’s Arts Department encourages students to engage in the Arts with confidence and curiosity. Use of our learning management system, participating in the advisory program, and committing to on-going education and innovation are required professional standards. Candidates who possess a firm knowledge of and teaching experience in art history would be highly desirable. In addition to teaching and advising, PCD faculty impact the lives of students through club leadership, coaching, or other extra curricular opportunities.
