Job Summary:

BB&N is seeking a full-time Spanish teacher for the Middle School, grades 7 & 8. The candidate hired will teach three to four classes, work in our co-curricular/Advisory program, advise students, and additional responsibilities will vary according to current program needs and/or load. The Spanish curriculum emphasizes the development of key reading and writing skills and oral proficiency, preparing students to be effective and confident communicators. This position may also include responsibility as Department Head for the Middle School.

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Spanish, Spanish Education or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is required and a Master’s is preferred. Preference will be given to teachers with fluency in Spanish and 3-5 years teaching experience. Proficiency in a third language is also a plus.
