BB&N is seeking an Upper School Orchestra teacher for an 80% position. Primary responsibilities include teaching Orchestra and several chamber groups that meet from 1-2 times a week. This role also includes serving as musical collaborator with the choral teacher and dramatic director on the winter musical. The Orchestra Director and Chamber Music Coach collaborates closely with colleagues in the Fine Arts Department and attends regular department and faculty meetings. Additional responsibilities will vary according to current program need and new initiatives.

Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in music instruction. The candidate should also have proficiency on at least one instrument, preferably piano. A Bachelor’s degree is required and Master’s is preferred with at least two years' full-time teaching experience.
