Dynamic, creative and flexible individuals are wanted for our toddler summer program. As Lead Teacher you will be in charge of designing and implementing curriculum for our eight week program, which is broken down into four 2 week sessions. Your responsibilities will include creating classroom materials and activities, supervising Assistant Teachers, effectively communicating with families and reporting to the Director. We seek teachers who can present curriculum that is compatible to Montessori education while acting as ambassadors for Montessori philosophy to families outside our school year community. Candidates should effectively plan and problem-solve with a team, have a sense of humor and relate warmly and effectively to others. The ability to understand and work with different learning styles is required. Qualifications: Massachusetts EEC Lead Teacher certified. Montessori toddler training preferred. Two or more years of previous lead teaching experience is desired.
