Montrose School seeks to appoint a veteran and innovative Upper School Biology and Chemistry teacher with an immediate need for AP Bio to join our collegial and robust Science Department. The successful candidate will be an accomplished teacher of science bringing passion and enthusiasm not only for the subject matter but for coaching adolescent girls to acquire and achieve a high level of proficiency in logical scientific inquiry and investigation while fostering a growth mindset. Candidates must have confidence and comfort with technology and delivering blended learning. Strong applicants should have significant coursework in a relevant subject (a master’s degree is preferred, but not required), an interest in curriculum development, a demonstrated interest in connecting girls with opportunities for exploration of science-related professional study, at least three years of classroom experience, and an appreciation for all-girls’ education.
