BB&N is seeking a full-time Upper School math teacher. Responsibilities include teaching four sections including AP Statistics (other courses would include a combination of Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, or Statistics) as well as assigned extra-curricular duties including the possibility of advising, extra-curricular clubs and/or coaching. The ideal candidate could also teach Computer Science.

Skills and Qualifications:
We seek an experienced teacher capable of teaching various levels of college preparatory mathematics. The ideal candidate will bring degree work in mathematics and/or computer science, high school teaching experience, and ample experience with differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and the use of technology for mathematics instruction.
In addition, the candidate will demonstrate the following:

· Strong writing skills
· Warmth, sense of humor, and tact
· Commitment to working in and fostering an inclusive community
· Ability to collaborate with colleagues
· Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
· Understand and exhibit high standards of professional conduct
