As a member of the Upper School faculty, the Physics Teacher is expected to teach 4 to 5 sessions with an average class size of 14, and serves as an advisor to a group of 7 to 10 Upper School students. In addition, he or she will coach or lead two other afternoon activities. Teachers are also expected to participate in Admissions’ Open Houses and act as ambassadors for Worcester Academy, and other like events outside the regular school day, participate in division/department meetings, participate in Professional Learning Groups as well as in Instructional Rounds with other teachers.
