The Winsor School is an independent day school for academically promising and motivated girls in grades five through twelve.  Winsor enrolls approximately 430 students from more than 50 different local communities in and around Boston. The School seeks a full-time Head Athletic Trainer to begin August 20, 2018.

 

The Head Athletic Trainer (ATC) reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the planning, organization, direction, execution and documentation of the sports medicine program which encompasses the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries such as first aid and emergency care, injury assessment, medical referrals, preventative measures, and rehabilitative therapy.  The primary responsibility of the ATC is to provide for the health and safety of Winsor’s students involved in the school’s athletic and intramural programs. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands/goals and meet deadlines. The ability to use technology effectively and a commitment to diversity work are essential. This is a 10.5 month position.
