The Academy is looking for an experienced accounting and finance professional who has proven track record of successfully running a small department of finance, accounting and benefits personnel.  The Director will be responsible for maintaining proper internal control, improving key processes of the Business Office, looking for opportunities to streamline and automate whenever possible and support the strategic and business development initiatives led by the CFO.  This is a full time exempt position reporting to the school’s CFO, supervising two finance and HR staff.


The Office Manager and Registrar plays an important role by providing a wide variety of administrative, secretarial, registrar, and program support to the academic program and serves as a primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies, often on complex and confidential issues.

August Scholars is a three-week, tuition-free, academic summer program for children from lower-income families in Boston who need summertime academic support to avoid serious learning loss. 

The program dates are Monday, July 9th to Friday, August 3rd (includes a training week) and is hosted at The Learning Project Elementary School in Back Bay.  See link below for more information.
