New Heads' Seminar Series

The Purpose:
Attend these seminars if you are interested in having real conversations with other new Heads of School about difficult topics. Topics might include: building a team; dealing with difficult faculty and parent situations; speaking effectively; managing change; "managing up" (in a head's case, managing a board of trustees); crisis management; and responding to the accountability movement; as well as other topics of interest to the group. Headship can be isolating, so use these seminars to cultivate a network of peers for friendship, advice, and counsel.
What Past Attendees Have Said:
"Bruce was the perfect person to lead the seminar. His wealth of experience, great humor, and welcoming demeanor set the perfect tone for sharing and collaboration, It was a wonderful opportunity for me to connect with other new Heads."
"I appreciated reconnecting with other new heads of school, sharing stories, and hearing responses to the case study challenges. A great day!"
